Tuesday, March 23, Dave Sherlock from Iowa Network Services will be teaching a free class here at Western Iowa Telephone's business office at 202 Cedar Street, Lawton. We will be discussing free software that enables you to import, crop, adjust, and manipulate digital photos. Also, he will touch on printing photos, how to shrink and email them to others, and how to protect your precious photos from being lost. Call our office to sign up for one of two identical classes. Time slots are either 3:00-5:00 p.m. or 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Get Your Message Out With Channel 3

Have an event that you'd like to get the word out to Western Iowa Telephone's customers? Send an email to channel 3. This channel is updated once a week on Mondays. If you're a cable tv customer, you can watch this channel for an up-to-date schedule of events in the area.

FCC rules restrict us from discussing telephone account information with ANYONE except the person whose name is on that account. Click here to make your account joint with someone whith whom you want to have account access, as well as share your capital credits. Click here for a form that allows account access to a contact person that you name. Their name will not appear on your capital credit account, but they will be allowed to receive and inspect confidential telephone information and to perform any and all acts that you can perform with respect to your telephone account.

Voice Messaging Upgraded to Allow Internet Access to Messages

An upgrade to Voice Messaging now allows the user to receive email notification that they have a message waiting. They can then click on the attached audio file to hear the message. You can also log into the Voice Messaging Portal and access your messages that way. This means that you can access your messages from anywhere that you have access to the Internet or phone service.
